Malcolm Myers (1917-2002)

Malcolm Haynie Myers was born June 19, 1917 in Lucerne, Missouri.  He earned his BFA from the Univ. of Wichita, Kansas in 1939, his MA in 1941, and his MFA at the Univ. of Iowa in 1948.  Joined the faculty of the Univ. of Minnesota in 1949 and taught there for over 50 years.

Awards: Guggenheim Fellowship, 1950, 1954; Ford Foundation Grant.
